About
Meet Ben Kahae
Fort Point Bookkeeping was founded to give Bay Area small businesses what they deserve: clean, accurate books and a bookkeeper who actually communicates.
I bring four years of public accounting experience — including bookkeeping, tax preparation, audits, and financial statement reviews — working with small businesses, construction companies, real estate clients, and nonprofit organizations. I'm a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, and I work closely with each client's CPA or tax preparer to keep everything aligned come tax season.
Outside of accounting, I'm a husband and father of three, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Sambo coach, and a U.S. Army veteran. I bring the same emphasis on discipline, consistency, and attention to detail to my work with clients.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I named the business after Fort Point — the historic post at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge — because good bookkeeping should feel the same way: a solid foundation everything else is built on.
